24 Ohioans participating in intensive AgriPOWER (Ohio’s Country Journal)

Twenty-four farmers and agribusiness professionals have been selected for the 2016-2017 AgriPOWER Leadership Institute Class VIII. AgriPOWER Institute is Ohio Farm Federation’s elite training program designed to help participants become community leaders and advocates for agriculture. Over the course of a year, they will learn about local, state and federal public policy topics important to the agricultural and food industry.

And yes, it makes a pretty tacky joke about Speaker John Boehner’s last name, saying he has a case of “electile dysfunction.” But considering the odds facing Republican J.D. Winteregg, the fact that anyone at all was talking about this goofy video shows that the strategy worked. Winteregg got only 23% in the GOP primary, though, so Boehner got the last laugh.
